Support Silverlight 3 in Visual Studio 2012
We have large sharepoint project in Visual Studio 2010 and we wold like to migrate in into VS 2012 but it is impossible. We are using Silverlight 3 class libraries as shared dll across our solution. These dlls are used in sharepoint code, services, and clients.
We cannot use Portable library because it support only .net 4.0 and sharepoint support 3.5. So either support .net 3.5 in portable libraries or silverlight 3 in VS 2012

Android with Visual Studio
Why cannot Visual Studio program for Android? I know that is a Google mark but... it could be very very useful to Microsoft. Just think that Eclipse is very very heavy as application and Visual Studio could program using C# or (I'm optimistic) VB.Net .. What do you think about it?

Upgrade Visual Studio to native x86_64-bit code.
Get rid of thunking issues, dual DLLs, remoted debugging required, and 32-bit default project nonsense. Upgrade the package to native 64-bit.
In the modern 64-bit desktop computer world, 32-bit apps are woefully inadequate and archaic. Show a little innovation and keep up with tht times. Raw GUI performance is not everything these days, that is really lame excuse not to rebuild for 64-bit.9 votes -

New Internet Explorer complementar module WPF Navigator, with transfert of functionnal assemby by part, and the WPF motor will be generate itself some HTML pages on the other materials.
Silverlight would be material independant. Finally, it wasn't a lot of support by the different environnements other than PC. In more, 5% of code is different as WPF : It's enormous for a developper conversion. And more, the loading time is long. And more, the Internet search motors don't analysis this pages.
It will be as the code has directly some WPF, with an automatic conversion more or less controled to…

XSLT
I love Visual Studio , I started using MS Quick 2 back in 1993. The only thing I would like is more support for XSLT transformations and
markup. I hate Java Script so perhaps bit of help in this area would help.

Boycotting Adobe
I enjoyed watching the Feynman Lectures in 2009, have been wanting to return when spare time permits. I am initiating my boycott of Adobe for refusing to immediately repair its known crash problem in Google Chrome - as though attempting to censor news in the guise of a technical glitch. Due to boredom with attempting to see school yard bullies make progress, I prefer seeing Microsoft SilverLight technology compatible with Google (including YouTube) be available everywhere as a reliably way to see video.

Add Lua Support
Since Lua is a widely used scripting language, and is often used with languages in the .NET framework/supported by Visual Studio, it would be nice if Visual Studio also had Lua Support.
Syntax highlighting and some intellisense would be most helpful. Debugging, and some error highlighting would be nice, but not necessary.

Driver development support for Windows XP and Server 2003
With the WDK integrated in the latest Visual Studio that now has the ability to create Windows XP executables, it seems fitting to be able to develop drivers for XP and Server 2003 with this environment too.

Make Regex support Unicode at least at level 1
Current implementation of regular expressions is handling code units as a code points, effectively messing up everything related to charaters outside of BMP.

*PLEASE* have the installer check if you have XP and tell you it won't work. Ugh. What a waste of time.

Have Visual Studio/Azure Import and Translate Access Applictions To Web & Hardware Compliant Formats
Since more people use Access as an business applications than Visual Studio & other internet programming technologies more business would be generated for server services if those Access application could be exported to Azure services directly with those Azure services supporting any target hardware platforms... Currently it seems the technology diversification (Asp.Net,VB, C#, F#, WPF, Wndows Forms,.......) creates more of an obstacle to the use of services and products.... Focusing on import and export translators (technology independent) for Access would help assure greater use of the server services by mitigating the need for customers to review all the current technologies…

Visual Studio Express 2012 Web To Explicitly Support Azure SQL Servers
Seems the subject support would assist users and increase sales for the Azure services. Currently VS Express 2012 Web does not show an option for connecting to an Azure SQL Server by default.

tie visio api into generic workflow api
I would like to create a program that will highlight Visio objects synchronously as I run my app through a simple HTTP request response protocol using HTTP. The idea is so no matter what program or language is running I can see the workflow light up and then tie it and meter it will power point for displaying and presenting.
