Provide more visibility for a test case's result status
Currently in MTM, you have to switch back and forth between the Test and Plan tabs because you can't see the test run status (i.e. Active, Passed, Failed, etc.) at the same time as you can assign testers to test cases. This makes re-balancing the workload across a large set of test cases very painful. (Also, the interface for assigning multiple test cases to a tester (or testers) is cumbersome.)
It's difficult to report on test case result status within a suite - you can only easily report status using the pie chart for the entire test plan.
Allow the query tool to query on result status.
As a product owner I want to review PBIs and related Test Cases, including test results, in TFS so that I know what to review for product readiness. I do not appear to be able to perform this simple function if we use Test Manager.
With the Web based Test case management capability(http://blogs.msdn.com/b/visualstudioalm/archive/2013/02/12/light-weight-browser-based-test-management-and-execution.aspx), we have now provided a mechanism to view the latest test outcome and assign tests to testers at one place in the Test hub.
The ability to query for test results is on the feature team’s backlog.

how about this report
we installed it and it enables a clear view of the test results
The TCM reporting blog posts are helpful, but excel reporting is not an acceptable workaround for querying for test results. It's common QA practice to report test outcomes by requirement and to organize regression testing around failed tests. I expect that I should be able to query for test results using the same interface as all other work item types.
Agree it would be great to be able to triage the results as a group but without being able to query and open the results from the query you have to go into each test suite and find the failed tests and open each result which is very time consuming. The Failure Type and Resolution seem kind of unusable without this feature. I understand you get run a report but you cant open the results to update these fields with a report.

Yes! This can take hours to do for a mid sized test team on a large test plan. For a product called "Test Manager" it is enormously difficult to manage a team of testers.
