Centralized Build View & Management

Create an interface to centrally view and manage builds for administrators. As an admin that manages builds across team projects, I find it tedious that I have to navigate to each Team Project’s Build Explorer to see current build activity. It makes it even worse that you force each Build Explorer to open in the same VS Window.

Minimally, the interface would be the current Build Explorer without the Team Project filter, thus allowing admins to have a central view of build activity. Ideally, it would be a similar interface that allows for a centralized build activity view and also surfaces key pieces of information about the build to try and minimize the need to drill in and out of each build.

FYI - There was a new release of the Community TFS Build Extensions (http://tfsbuildextensions.codeplex.com/) that includes a new TFS Build Manager that handles some of the features suggested here. Also, another great free tool available is the TFS Team Project Manager (http://teamprojectmanager.codeplex.com/) that lets you handle certain aspects of build management across team projects

I totally agree with Eric. We have 19 team projects within a collection and I've always wanted the ability to see all builds for all these projects as if they were in a tree structure just waiting for me to expand each team project. Great idea!!! Hope it happens someday.
