Multi-monitor support for MTM Video Recording
Currently it is very unpredictable which monitor will be recorded when using the video recording feature. It is very easy to record sensitive information such as the testers personal email.
By default it should only record the monitor that test runner is on but this should be configurable incase testers use a different monitor for the Application Under Test
Ideally it should be more obvious which monitor is being recorded. A slight red glow around the monitor in question when recording would be nice.

We are considering how we can solve this problem as Expression Encoder 4.0 (used by MTM for video recording) does not support multi-monitor recording.

@Josh, i agree this isn't a request to record both monitors simultaneously just to be able to configure and be aware of which monitor is being recorded. From some basic testing it depends on the machine hardware what monitor it currently records and there is no way to change this

It doesn't necessarily need to record both monitors, just allow me to configure which monitor it records. I have a different experience than the OP, it always records monitor 1 for me, not the monitor that MTM is running on.

This is quite true. The screen wasn't big enough for MTM2010 test runner and the software under test and the wrong screen got recorded and added to the bugs. So now the developers see all my emails and excel documents - doh-
