Convert to Git Repository feature

It would be great if Visual Studio could automatically create a GitHub repository for me and commit a TFS repository to it, and then use a Git source control plugin from then on.

Is the real ask here for better Git/GitHub integration in VS? It would certainly be useful for developers choosing to use Git to have source control integration in VS, but I'm not sure having your "TFS repo" in Git is a way that anybody would want to work.

why on earth would i want to use a primitive tool like Git when Microsoft's TFS is clearly a best-of-breed solution, offering all the high-ceremony antifeatures, obstructive workflows and complete disregard for performance that the modern calcified enterprise demands?
