Improve productivity in VS by supporting editable profiles for placing views/windows

I feel that VS is hindering me in beeing as effective as possible mainly because it:
1. Have way to many different views/windows that I must spent time on "managing"
2. Does not have good multi monitor support for "managing" these views

VS have many different views/windows like "Solution Explorer", "Properties" ... In Ultimate I count 6 views related to tests alone. I feel that it must be possible to reduce this number, since in the end some of them show similar data with a twist. I feel it's time to look at all the views and rethink them to better match the current features.

Navigating in VS without the mouse is way too complicated and sometimes not even possible. This means I'm forced to use my mouse a lot to move these views around, show/hide them.

When switching between runtime/design time the views change again, so I might have to spend time choosing the best layout for the moment.

Even with two monitors it's still a burden. I can move some of the views to the second monitor, but I still have to spent time on "managing" them.

I would prefer beeing in power and beeing able to create a "profile" for my views based on:
1. Single or mulitple monitor (let me easily go between laptop and dekstop workplace)
2. What kind of "work" I'm currently performing (class library means I don't need designers)
3. Runtime/design time

I'm not saying VS should create these "profiles" based on my aboove mentioned list, I would just like to be able to:
1. Create a new "profile"
2. Show/hide views and move them around
3. Save profile (might be implicit)

and whenever I choose that profile the windows will be placed as they where the last time I used the profile.

I too feel this would be a great improvement. I frequently connect to my work PC remotely and when I do I'm limited to one monitor and all I can see is my second monitors collection of property and explorer windows. I have to spend the first few minutes rearranging them. Then I have to do this all again when I return to the office so I can make use of my other monitors. I would like to be able to save these two profiles and easily switch between them.
