Use HTML5 as representation layer instead of silverlight
So I can use lightswitch out-of-box in iPhone,Android,WP7,iPad and all devices support HTML5.
Today we released the LightSwitch HTML Client Preview which gives you an early look at our upcoming support for building touch-enabled HTML5 clients. Please download the bits and discuss in the forums:

Like many people already said, "in addition to" silverlight ;)

Lightswitch looks amazing and would solve a lot of problems, but it is a non-starter without iPad support.

This secure a purpose to LightSwitch and expand it into many potential markets.

Definitely "in addition to."

Definately 'in addition to' and not 'instead of'

Think instead of Silverlight is too strong. Think it should be "in addition to" which gives multiple options.

Please, don't do it unless you have html/js framework with the same capabilities as we currently have with c#/xaml.

If I could vote this down, I would. Although it would be nice to have an HTML presentation layer, Silverlight is just fine for now. I'd rather see more time spent on other wishlist items.

I second the "In addtion to Silverlight" comment.

I guess they could map the HTML 5 and Silverlight tags and it would just do a string replace and hopefully look correct.

It would be nice if we design in XAML and it would render HTML 5 for devices that do not have Silverlight plugin.

This should not be "instead of Silverlight" but in "addition to Silverlight"

When I discuss using LightSwitch for internal business applications management always wants to know if it will be possible to build iPhone/iPad friendly interfaces
