        I can see how some have written classes, but I was thinking more about it being accessable via the LS IDE (perhaps as a conditional formatting control?).

        Are you talking about setting background colour, font style, etc based on the row data? If so, you can do this today. Can't remember the link offhand (not in the office), but search around the forum and the Lightswitch blogs, and you should find a few examples showing you how.
