I strongly agree with this. PHP is a fact of life, I don't particularly like it, but I have done a lot of voluntary work in it for a non-profit organisation, and life would be so much easier if VS would support it. The CLR paradigm is supposed to be that the developer can work in whatever language they are comfortable provided it runs under the CLR. Although PHP is open-source, MS would still be doing themselves a big favour if they would support it instead of pretending it does not exist. Not just intellisense and smart formatting, but also step-thru debugging would be great.
