I suggest you ...

Rename "Allow MFC 11 to run in XP SP3" idea

Rename the following idea:

https://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio/suggestions/2287078-allow-mfc-11-to-run-in-xp-sp3

to something more descriptive to gain attention of users.

E.g.
Title: "Allow VS11 C++ applications to run on XP SP3"
Description: "C++ binaries compiled with Visual Studio 11 beta do not run on XP SP3. Allow the VS11 CRT (and possibly MFC) to run on XP SP3."

Pointless. No need to waste effort on XP support in VS12. XP is old and needs to die.

200 votes and nothing. I can't believe Microsoft is actually trying to hide the XP support item...

Microsoft, we know you read this. Is a few clicks too much?

"allow VS11 c++ applications to run on XP SP3" may not be good because the "native-multitargeting" loophole could be used as an excuse. The original is clear that the VC11 libraries cannot be used on XP SP3. I agree it may need adding of CRT on the main line but "allow VS11" is no good because of what I mentioned.

Yes! Many people still don't know that VS11 doesn't allow XP targeting.
