Ability to add/edit test steps on a test case
We often share our test process with our customers. Our customers do their own acceptance tests and some even do a bit of system test (in addition to what we do) during a project. If we could keep all test cases related to a project in one central space, it would add tremendous value. Our customers do not have Microsoft Test Manager, nor do they have Visual Studio. So if we could provide a web interface (i. e. “Team Foundation Service”) through which our customers could manage their test cases without requiring Microsoft Test Manager, we would be able to track our customers’ test progress the way we track our own and we would have all test cases managed from one confined space.
The inability to add and change test steps on a test case is currently blocking us from sharing our test case repository with our customers and I think providing the ability to add and change test steps without requiring Microsoft Test Manager would push HP Quality Center over the edge.
