Microsoft Project Team Connector should allow non-published tasks in the middle of the tree
Microsoft Project doesn't allow you to have multiple headers (like a normal project plan) and have indented children linked with headers in for clarification. It should link up to the "last" work item type above it. As it is today if you try to do this, you will get: "You cannot have subordinate tasks whose publish and refresh setting is different from the parent task." If we're not publishing and it's indented correctly why not?
Thank you for your suggestion. We are closing out this category in Visual Studio and monitoring all Office and SharePoint development at officespdev.uservoice.com.

Agreed... this is very frustrating. I have several 'parents' in all of my projects and they are NOT tasks (TFS) themselves. If I select 'No' for Publish and Refresh, then they do not need to be published. Now I have to create bogus TFS work items and manage them separately (waste of my time!!!!)
