add the option to do Add 'using' directive to deepest scope to the K+D command in Visual Studio
this is an option in resharper that ensures all using statements are inside the namespace. It only works after a class has been created though. What I typically do is alter the code templates I use most to have the default usings inside the namespace for whenever I create a new class. It would be great to not have to alter the templates. What if I could hit K+D and all the usings would be moved and all future usings (for existing classes) would be added to the others.

Process template populate custom fields
When creating process template modifications in VSTS, we need the ability to batch load custom fields as opposed to manually keying records due to volume of records. The solution must not impact or complicate the VSTS upgrade model.

Increase our opportunities to vote
The Visual Studio User Voice forum covers _a lot_ of topics! With 32 categories! It even covers things that aren't specific to VS, such as languages, projects, .NET, developer community and more. With only 10 votes, we are very limited in what we can support. Here are some options:
1. Move some categories out into their own forum
2. Increase the number of votes
3. Switch to the (User Voice-preferred) supporter model (https://feedback.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/782139-the-benefits-of-supporters-over-voting-limits)1 vote -

Development
My son will be a freshman this year. He plays xbox all the time. We had a summer book report due when school starts. He could not find the book. We bad to buy it from amazon. My suggestion is xbox have a virtual library, where you can rent or buy the book. If we buy the book then you read it to us and give us a game/ quiz after each chapter.

While trying to find an existing suggestion for a suggestion I had in mind, I found at least 3 different instances of it, each with ~10 votes. Each one is closed with the following note from the VS PM: "I want to personally thank you for taking the time to share this suggestion. Since the suggestion you raised has not gathered many votes, the Visual Studio IDE team is prioritizing other suggestions and closing it at this time."I highly recommend not doing…

Cor Ligthert needs to get out of MSDN forum
Hello dear Microsoft
I have met a guy named Cor Ligthert who was being rude to me, just because I need help with C# and telling me non-sense and telling me to stop programming. I have told him to stop being rude and be quiet then he reported my post after that. Seriously??? He makes me angry and sad and now i'm very scared to ask a question on MSDN. He is also telling non-sense and being rude to other users. The good news is some of replies got deleted for good
He is too…

Visual Studio 2017 Professional Non-MSDN Upgrade Path (for VS 2019)
Just read the blog post about 2019: It would be great if there will be an upgrade option (reduced price) for non-MSDN customers coming from Visual Studio 2017 Professional.

Create a tool to solve linker library problems
Create a tool that analyses and solves or proposes a solution to the linker problems with symbols already defined in another library. From what I have seen this is a very common problem experienced by developers that are not knowledgeable of the intricacies involving the different libraries and compilation and linker options and execution environments.
I am sure that such a tool would save a lot of time, irritation and gray hairs among you developer customers.

tfignore
Honor .tfignore in users\<name>\ folder as highest level (solution folder can override or add to this as well as solution sub-folders).
This used to work with VS2015. Thought it would work in 2017, but doesn't and can't find any online reference to .tfignore in users folder.

Simplify settings related to bitness
The bitness related settings are scattered all over and overcomplicate the development process.
They shoul all just use whatever is selected Configuration Manager / Active Solution Platform or use one central setting.

Allow creation of VSTS personal access tokens via Powershell
The current process for creation of personal access tokens does not support automation very well. My team uses a service account's access tokens to allow automated bug creation, etc. but the auth with VSTS relies on the service account's personal access token (Retrieved from a KeyVault). It would be very useful if there was some automated way of creating a new token when the current one is about to expire.
