Initial releases should be limited to the favorites. Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS... or after these distributions are released, make the distributions open sourced on github. That way the can be forked into the desired flavor.

Just use Visual Studio Code, it's cross platform and if you ever need something, there is a plugin for it.

I would like Visual Studio in Linux! That´s great! VSCode is a very good option, but Visual Studio is a full IDE for universal developments.
I´m loving .Net Core and Asp.Net Core
I would like that too. I'm using JetBrains tools just because I don't have VS on Linux

I use both Windows and Linux all the time depending on the project I'm working on, and having what is basically the best IDE on Linux will be really great.

Hi guys, I'm the owner of this idea.
I want to say that us can use JetBrains rider instead of waiting for the visual studio for Linux. because Rider is best. I have 6 months experience with the JetBrains Rider, I suggest use Rider.
