Make the Mouse Back Button work
As of VS15 pressing the mouse back button does some strange navigation. I cannot figure out what it does. It seems to jump backwards but kind of randomly to different files and locations.
Please make the mouse back button do what, I believe, everybody expects and wants: Move the caret to the previous edit location.
No fancy, unpredictable heuristics please.

I can confirm that the extension link:
does work, I now have the behaviour I had with VS2013 for navigating backward and forward with the mouse buttons.

This worked before without an extension. Now in the newest VS2017 it does not work, not even with the extension linked below.
I believe control minus does this, but that'S inconvenient. I saw no way to reconfigure the keyboard bindings so that the mouse back button does what ctrl-minus does.
This is so vexing that people have written extensions just for that: https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/87fb8c65-d1db-49e9-a068-d62a222a4ae7
That's a bad solution because extensions might be buggy, slow or send private data away. I'd rather have this feature build in.
