Conditional formating for Lists and DataGrids and Reporting.
First, congratulations for this product, its an old wish i had. For the completness of this tool, i think its fundamental to have Lists and Datagrid conditional formatting.

Of course, Microsoft Access forms have done this easily for years...

Until Microsoft incorporates this feature, you can use this for most conditional formatting:

Pardon the commercial (please treat this as informational, not shilling), but our FlexGrid for LightSwitch extension is a full replacement for the default grid, plus has conditional formatting, filtering and many more features built in. If you're open to an extension, this is ready today. http://www.componentone.com/SuperProducts/FlexGridLightSwitch/
For me conditional formatting is very important too
my users want a way to track changes on editing. This is almost necessary due to the volume of traffic this app will have. Yes Give Us This Ability Please!
Please, implement this feature. For me, conditional format is the biggest gap of LightSwitch.

@ Third Uncle - I would suggest submitting a seperate idea for creating backup/test screens. The ability to assign detail screens is supported in LightSwitch.

1. Ability to create backup\test screens (any entity) within a project
2. Ability to easily swap default detail screens
3. Ability to test debug detail screens without assigning them as default detail screens
Want to change list formatting based on the row data (e.g. use crossed-out font for expired data)
1. Conditional color and font control.
2. Easier access to the view portion of the view items (directly change visible aspects)
