Translator (C# <--->VB.NET)
Visual Studio is now very powerful. However, if there is a service which can translate from C# into VB and vice versa, that will be marvellous.
Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion. This item has been around for a couple of versions of Visual Studio and we haven’t acted on it. Looking at the VS “15” plans, we’re not going to take action on this item, so we’re going to close it. If the suggestion is still relevant, please either take a look to see if there’s another suggestion that’s similar that you can vote on, or open a new suggestion.

Remember CodeDOM? Borland (later sold Delphi to Embarcadero) has BabelFish tool that could convert from C# to Object Pascal and vice-versa since both compilers were emitting CodeDOM info
Roslyn RTM is out. What happened to the Paste as C#/VB sample?
Please provide a MS/community maintained converter class.

Roslyn is a great idea and should be included in every future version of Visual Studio as a standard feature! Yes!!!

Yes, please bake this into VS ... it would be useful to me all the time given the number of C# samples that I need to refactor into VB for my apps.
And also to and from C++/CLI and F# or any other supported language.
The Roslyn CTP has been released and you can download it from http://msdn.microsoft.com/roslyn. Once installed, select Microsoft Codename Roslyn CTP -> Getting Started from the Windows start menu and locate the Paste as C#/VB sample. Once you build and install the sample, you'll be able to copy C# code to the clipboard, right-click in a VB file and choose Paste as VB (or, do the same from VB to C#).
