Convert XAML to HTML 5 SVG or Canvas

How cool would it be if we could write in XAML and have that converted to the HTML5 canvas or SVG? Taking it a step further, how about that plus WebSocket calls on Canvas/SVG events!

Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion. This item has been around for a couple of versions of Visual Studio and we haven’t acted on it. Looking at the VS “15” plans, we’re not going to take action on this item, so we’re going to close it. If the suggestion is still relevant, please either take a look to see if there’s another suggestion that’s similar that you can vote on, or open a new suggestion.

MS favors the stupid JS language to attract all foreign devs who never tasted Silverlight+RIA. I wish MS wakes up and implements this.

I totaly agree that this has got to be very achievable with the current HTML 5 specification. More importantly if XAML could perform as quickly as HTML5 renders in those tiny little browsers... ;)
