Can't believe this isn't already available! How can we know how good our testing is without this information? Had real troubles getting the unit test project created too - the first couple of attempts of creating the portable unit test project meant no intelli-sense, but third time lucky.

I believe that dotCover by JetBrains does code coverage for store apps.
I would LOVE to have it native to the IDE, but there are options available.

We are working on a major application. Unit testing works, but we REALLY need some idea of the coverage.

we are developing windows store apps for Windows 8.1 however it seems even with visual studio 2013 ultimate, it doesn't support unit test code coverage.

Our company just upgraded to VS2013 Premium and Code Coverage doesn't work there either for store apps (including Win 8.1). Why has this not been included?

I don't understand. If the future is Windows Store apps, then why are features not available for Windows Store Apps projects. It seems the environment is becoming more confused rather than clearer and easier to use. This is not a must have feature, but it would be nice.
