Generate dynamic upgrade maps for persisted workflow instances via the designer

Currently, we can only dynamically upgrade persisted workflow via code. This is because in WF 4.5 there is no designer support for the workflow definition update phase (designated as phase number 2 on this page http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh314052.aspx). Considering one of the key selling points of the framework is the workflow designer, it is surprising that no support exists for dynamic updates.

Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion. This item has been around for a couple of versions of Visual Studio and we haven’t acted on it. Looking at the VS “15” plans, we’re not going to take action on this item, so we’re going to close it. If the suggestion is still relevant, please either take a look to see if there’s another suggestion that’s similar that you can vote on, or open a new suggestion.

I have tried using a workflow with some if/else block and now trying to dynamically add writeline activity into the sequence.
The map when it is getting generated has 25 member count, but there are only 23 entities count. this is why workflowapplicaiton.load is failing to load persisted Instances using map.
