Add Functionality to display Normals in Model Viewer

For the model Viewer it would be helpful to be able to display (/Add/Calculate) Normals (face vertex, etc)..

this will assist in simple debugging

Thanks for taking the time to share this suggestion. This item has been around for a couple of versions of Visual Studio and we haven’t acted on it. Looking at the VS “15” plans, we’re not going to take action on this item, so we’re going to close it. If the suggestion is still relevant, please either take a look to see if there’s another suggestion that’s similar that you can vote on, or open a new suggestion.

    Hi Larry,

As Shaun mentioned, the model viewer can show the vertex and face normal, although we currently don't support add/calculate the normal. Thanks for the suggestion! We'll look into this in the future.

In the FBX editor, there's a toolbar button that to me looks kind of like a scroll partially unrolled with a triangle to the right of it. Click on the triangle, then the View menu, then Show Face Normals or Show Vertex Normals.
