Resolve the HAXM <--/--> Hyper-V conflict, so that Android development with the new Android Emulator feature can be done with an accelerated native VM instead of emulated which is slow.
We’re working with the Windows team to understand if we can do anything here.

This is one of biggest problem that afflicts windows today: the coexistence of more than one hypervisor at same time (same issue with vmware and hyper-v).
This issue is really hard to solve, this involves lots of engineering issue and hardware limitations.
Probably the only solution is to add hosted virtualization support to hyper-v: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e1/Hyperviseur.png
John, did you ever make progress on this? I recently ran into the issue where the Xamarin Tizen Visual Studio preview requires HAXM. However, I have Hyper-V enabled on my machine so HAXM does not work. Now that you own everything, help us have HAXM and Hyper-V simultaneously, or at least provide a Tizen Hyper-V image? Or maybe Windows Phone HAXM image?
