Audit Trail (Change Log)
Option to activate at the table/field level the option to capture changes to data records and save them in a history table.
This could easily be achieved if when a table is created, one table_history would also be created to keep the history changes for the fields with the option keep history active, without the need to develop custom code.
Thank you for your suggestion on improving LightSwitch. However, Visual Studio 2015 is the last release of Visual Studio that includes the LightSwitch tooling and we recommend users not begin new application development with LightSwitch. That said, we will continue to support users with existing LightSwitch applications, including critical bug fixes and security issues as per the Microsoft Support Lifecycle. Please see the blog post for more information: https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/lightswitch/2016/10/14/lightswitch-update/

Could you explain how to do audit trial of embedded SecurityData's entities (adding users, granting/revoking permissions, changing roles/ memberships etc.).
Thank you very much in advance!
thank you for your comment.
I normally follow the Global LS Forum I have read your latest post and appreciated your personal experience regarding audit trail.
I agree with you that this request can be easily obtained using the custom development you just described, but for all the LS users that don't have programming experience, this could be a nice2have functionality included in the tool. And again, I don't think it would be difficult to add.
Once again, thank you for your comment and another great post.
Keep up the good work and put the release date out for v2.

You can currently do this with some code. I've written on a couple techniques here:
