Semantic applications using "big data" are undoubtedly the next frontier in application development. Web standards like RDF/OWL/SPARQL are here to stay and are mature enough to start developing intelligent tooling support if MS is to stay relevant in what is known at "Web 3.0" or the "Semantic Web".
IMO, the single most important aspect of this is picking up where the LinqToRDF project left off and enabling LINQ querying on a SPARQL compatible endpoints.
LinqToRDF also provided a VS designer experience but unfortunately is highly outdated with support for only Visual Studio 2008.
Please start building tooling/frameworks to make development of semantic applications not feel so unnatural.

Darn forgot to add a good title like "Tooling for Semantic Application" and I cant edit. If admin can change that would be much more relevant and searchable.
