Enable reporting with Visual Studio Online
It would be great to have access to the reporting capabilities in the Warehouse and the Cube to enhance the analysis capabilities with VSO. Especially around testing and other such capabilities we would really benefit from having some degree of reporting access (even if it was just against SQL Azure and didn't provide cube access)
We are happy to share that Analytics views are now available on all VSTS accounts using the Analytics extension. Analytics views are a major part of our Power BI story. It makes getting VSTS work tracking data into Power BI simple, and it works for the largest accounts. See our recent blog post for more details:

Hi, can you provide an update on the ability to create our own views with filters in the Power BI Data Connector? The below page said that this was coming in February of '18:

Just in case folks aren't aware, custom widget reports may be created along with using PowerBI. https://www.visualstudio.com/team-services/reporting/ I can understand the move away from SSRS because that is a very specific skill set and now the reporting widgets may be created in C# opening up the reporting realm to more developers.

I am really enthusiastic about visual studio online but because of the lack of reporting we consider on-prem or jira.
This is a deal breaker for VSOnline - if it doesn't have it, we can't use it. Back to on-prem for us!
This one is the main reason we are considering moving away from team foundation services and go and bear the pain of managing a "full" TFS in an azure VM. Very unfortunate.

It would be good because it would have more traceability.

Since TFService is now final, can you please update the title? Thank you
