Customization of TFS Web Access
We would like to customize TFS Web Access to add new tabs, pages and other content to support our in-house processes. We were able to do this in the previous version of TFS Web Access. But there is no info about doing so in the current version of TFS Web Access.
On VSO you can customize Web Access using the extensions that we released recently.
See for more information: https://www.visualstudio.com/integrate/extensions/overview
This feature is planned for an upcoming TFS 2015 update.
TFS Program Manager
Any indication on when the " upcoming TFS 2015 update" is likely to be given that Update 1 was released recently and didn't include this.
That would save a lot of headache and time.
It's coming. For the time being with VSOnline

I agree that this is definitely a requirement - the code is there - just need the documentation - for TFS 2013 as well. I have team mates requesting modifications to make TFS work better with our processes or to be more customizable like JIRA....

I dont understand how the TFS team thought when they decided not to allow to customize the web portal home page in TFS projects.
I assume the web portal is not based on sharepoint like in the previous versions and it will take more time to fix this for the TFS team.

Please do this for TFS 2013 as well.

Please add this feature. We want to implement our in-house process as a part of Team Project web access.

Please add the extensions, when its there, what is the problem in documenting it and giving it to people.
Needs to be added. I support the idea. Makes no sense why it should not.
Please add it.
Please add this feature.
This would be of Great Help. Honestly I'm not even sure why this wasn't included from the very start
Customization of TFS Web access should be included. All other ALM products like JIRA comes with this features

Yes! Please add this and supply a TFS 2013 Preview web access extension SDK/docs. Existing web access extensions appear to be incompatible with TFS 2013.
I'd really like to be able to customize Web Access.
As more users seem to use it in 2012, I get more and more requests such as marking Blocked Tasks in the board with a different color/style, distinguish PBIs from Bugs in the release page, changing the default queries etc.

I would like to be able to add my own dashboard and create my own widgets - containing information that's important to me.
Knowing the extensibility points would enable me to do this myself.
We know this is possible to do as the likes of UrbanTurtle are doing it. Can we please have this information made public.
