How can we improve Team Services?

Allow charting on fields other than "count of work items" such as effort or work remaining

When creating a chart based on a TFS query, the only option for Values is "count of work items." I would like to create a pie chart grouped by state where the value of each sector is the total effort for the work items in that state.

We want to build a product that our users love. User Voice provides us a great platform to let any TFS/VSTS user tell us what is important to them. We closely pay attention to the most popular suggestions.

Too many suggestions in User Voice however will make it hard for you to find the suggestions you want to support. We will regularly archive the suggestions created more than a year ago and has low number of supporters.

When a suggestion is archived, you can still view them, but you can’t support them anymore. Also Microsoft will not pay attention to these suggestions.

Have a look here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/dn407521%28v=vs.120%29.aspx, scroll down to the question:
Q: Can I create a chart that aggregates items using SUM? Can I create a trend chart?
A: Yes, if you connect to a server that has been updated to TFS 2013.4. Otherwise, you can only create status charts that show a count of work items.
To create trend charts, open the query in Team Explorer and choose Create Report in Microsoft Excel.
