The NuGet Package Manager should match more of the features and feel of VS for Windows.
1) I should be able to manage packages for the entire solution and select one or more projects I want to install a package to
2) I should be able to consolidate any packages that mismatch
3) I should be able to manage the packages installed on a single project. For instance maybe I am on version 1 of a library, and running update would bring me to version 1.3 and I want version 1.1299 votes
Please add a Packet Manager Console like in the VS Windows Version.
There are instances like run Update-Database commands which is not possible even if we use mono .3 votes
I have been working on a small console project that only contains one solution file. Because of this, it took me a long time to figure out that the Add NuGet Packages button was only enabled when I click on the solution file. It would be much easier if you could always add NuGet packages and within that, decide what solution to add them to.1 vote
