How can we improve Microsoft Visual Studio for Mac?

Support C++ in Visual Studio for Mac

Visual Studio for Mac enables developers to create applications using .NET and C# only.

Visual Studio for Mac should also provide support for C++ development, using compilers available on the system (gcc, Clang, etc.)

I've talked to other users and it seems C++ used to be supported in Visual Studio. Why would this functionality have been removed? This makes no sense. Please add this functionality back or at least explain why it has been removed. Don't leave us hanging.

As a fellow computer science university student, I believe this functionality should have been default. Many student use Mac's, and any CS student knows the benefits of VS. Please add this ASAP! Thank you.

This would be super useful since my university only gave me the 2017 version of visual studio and we are working on C++, I could really use this compatibility for working at home!

As Visual Studio is best IDE for C++ development ,so please don't restrict to windows only. I was hoping, that Visual Studio for mac would have this facility but disappointed.
