We have added strikethrough front capability on all fields in the work item form i.e. Description, Acceptance Criteria, Discussion, etc! Please feel free to give us feedback on the new text editor, which has more new features other than strikethough.

Thanks for that. Few more questions.
How do you visualize it in the UI? Where would you see these include pages in the UI? Do you expect the pages to be differentiated with the includes? Also, do you want to create a page exclusively as a include page or do you want to use any other page as a include page.

How do you expect the create and edit experience for these "include pages"? and where do you expect it to be in the folder structure?

Currently we do not have support deleting a project wiki. But we can delete the wiki repository. Below are the steps for that.

          1. Clone the wiki repository to take backup of all its content. The more options have the clone wiki url which can be used to clone the wiki.

          2. Get the git repository Id that is backing this wiki. You can use this REST API to get all the wikis in the project.
          a. Eg: GEThttps://fabrikam.visualstudio.com/sampleProject/_apis/wiki/wikis?api-version=4.1
          b. This will return all the wikis in the project ‘sampleProject’. From that we can get the repository Id of the particular wiki we need to delete.

          3. Wiki APIs do not support deletion of a project wiki yet. So, we have to delete the wiki repository instead. This REST API can be used to delete the backing git repository.
          a. Eg: DELETE https:// fabrikam.visualstudio.com/ sampleProject /_apis/git/repositories/{repositoryId}?api-version=4.1
          b. Use the repository Id of the project wiki found using the previous step. Please double check that the repository Id is of the project wiki that needs to be removed

There is a dropdown next to the save button where one can enter a commit message before saving. Is there something I am missing here?

I almost hear 3 feedback items here:
              1) Service hooks to integrate with other tools such as Slack, MSTeams etc.
              - This makes sense.

              2) Simple notifications on page updates
2.1) Ability to follow a page to accomplish (2) i.e get notifications on page updates
              - This resonates with me a lot. I think we need to introduce Follow for a wiki page.

              3) Notifications when anything in the whole Wiki repo is updated. I feel this is a more admin rather than a user level feature .. am I thinking right?

With point 2 as the notifications workflow, what are the actions that you would expect notifications?
I can think of some actions (listed below), please add to the list if you feel something is missing
              1. Page content edit
              2. Page rename/title edit
              3. Page delete
              4. Page move
For all these, the name of the person who did the action and the page in which the action was made.

              Regards,
              Adithya Ramasubramanian

"columns selected in the query": you mean the columns selected in the WIT Query using column options?

Just to understand this better. Can you elaborate on "result of a work item query"? What do you expect to get in wiki pages as the WIT query result?

The pull request workflow is available with Code Wiki. You can create a branch, edit, create PRs and moderate content that goes to Master branch. Is there something else that is required to be able to create PRs for Wiki? If not, then I will close this as completed.

                    Regards,
                    Adithya Ramasubramanian

From the comments, I understand that for project wiki, the PR flow is important. How do you expect to handle merge conflicts that arise when there are branches and PRs for project wiki?

At Microsoft we have more acronyms than the hair on my head :) I can totally see how this can be very valuable for our users and us. This is playing into the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning space. Thank you for this suggestion and forcing us to think on those lines.

" c/c++/c# are case-sensitive languages, and search can be a headache if you're searching for macros versus camelCase variables versus whatever other naming style.  This is especially a problem where the search string contains common words or worse, words that are keywords in one casing or another.  Please enable case sensitivity in search.
It would be nice to be able to toggle this at a query level, and make it sticky by user, but not required." Adding on behalf of a user (Sandeep Chadda)

I’d like to download a bunch of files matching a certain search criteria - it would be great to be able to do ”bulk actions” on search results.

Makes sense. I think we have some work to do there. We need to make the UI of the search dialog better. I have heard this feedback from other users as well.

Hi all, this is great feedback, I just wanted to let you know that we have made some improvements to the way we handle agent assignment that should at least help prevent the scenario where all of the builds go to the agents on a single build machine despite having idle build machines with no busy agents.

For example, if you had 3 machines (A, B, C) and each has a few agents we will assign the builds to the agents by looking for an available agent on the most idle machine.

I'll leave this item open though since it has plenty of good ideas for giving you more control over the process.

                                      Thanks,
                                      Dennis

It's something we're very likely to pick up but it's unclear exactly when. Sorry, I know that's not the answer you were hoping for but I can say it's on the radar and comes up regularly now in our priority / backlog discussions.

What kind of size options would you be most interested in (in terms of Azure VM Role Sizes and Disk Sizes)?

Hi all, we currently have a few images cached on the Hosted VS 2017 image, including servercore and aspnet, you can view the list here in the github repo:
                                          https://github.com/Microsoft/vsts-image-generation/blob/master/images/win/Vs2017-Server2016-Readme.md

Aside from the sql one mentioned previously, do those cover what you need?

It should work similar to how many Azure resource limits work currently. There's a maximum you can buy through the standard UI and anything beyond that requires contacting Support to get the increase. One common reason for this is to avoid a large purchase from impacting availability, it gives the teams a heads up on the increase.
