I don't like to see block structure guides, yet my suggestion targets the same objective this proposal does.

Please add an option to each language (and to the appropriate "Options, Text Editor, All Languages" panel as a default setting, too) to enable (and, thus, DISABLE, too) block structure guides.

See this suggestion, which is suggesting the same but has more votes:

    https://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio-ide/suggestions/16102768-provide-tab-strip-in-output-window-instead-of-comb

Perhaps you want to vote there, too?

Moreover, using TF command line utility doesn't work either: It removes line breaks and crops check-in comments.

See this MS Community Forum thread for details:

Yeah, I fully agree. Your suggestion would be rather useful to have implemented in Visual Studio.

It's currently quite cumbersome to manually add fully qualified class names to <see cref="..."> tags. ... And it's awkward that only after compiling you see that you'd been entering invalid types, parameter names etc.
