    VB6 programming only needs updating to be Microsoft's leading language again.

    >> Now VB.Net is dying.
    >> But VB6 programming still continues on Windows 10.
    >> And VBA programming is in Office.

    And don't forget VBScript programming is in Windows 10 too.

    >> I agree it would be better to use VB6 programming.
    >> .Net would be just too slow on these types of devices.

    Correct!

    VB6 programming for UWP could just save UWP.

    Microsoft should bring back VB6 programming.

    It has long been demanded. No point in persisting with the failed VB.Net.

    Yes VB6 programming with web support would be brilliant.

    @Anthony

    >> And Microsoft, you're just as guilty. You would prefer to push a language that no one wants to use (VB.Net) than make money off of selling an updated version of VB6.

    It can't be a commercial decision that Microsoft continue with the failed VB.Net but refuse to update the widely demanded VB6 programming language.

    Anything to support VB6 programming would be useful.

    @Microsoft, update VB6 programming & VBA programming

    >> It is feasible to open source VB6. Microsoft don't want to because it would be more popular than .Net.

    VB6 programming has always been more popular than VB.Net

    There is no reason VB6 programming can't be open sourced.
