I've created the Disable Outlining Undo extension that excludes expanding and collapsing operations from recording to the undo/redo stack:

Thanks to Rick Sladkey for the idea!

    Hello voters!

While we don’t have concrete plans to share yet, I wanted to let you know that we recently started discussions about potentially supporting this scenario.

I’ll provide an update once I have more concrete information to share.

    Thank you!

You can display multiple files or code fragments in a grid with the Task Canvas extension: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=SergeyVlasov.TaskCanvas

Similar functionality is implemented in my Task Canvas extension. You click "Add task" and name it Bug-101. Work on it normally, open six tabs as usual. When need to switch to a new bug, click "Add task" and name it Another bug. Work on it and when done just select Bug-101 from the task list - all the right Bug-101 six tabs open and the current state of Another bug is automatically saved, in case you need to return to it later.

You can use the following command with Visual Commander extension installed: "Go to a member in the current document" - https://vlasovstudio.com/visual-commander/commands.html#GoToMember

I've just created the Smooth Caret extension to add smooth typing to Visual Studio:
